Dr. Melissa Merrick, the CEO of Prevent Child Abuse America, will be the keynote speaker at Parent Promise’s Empowering Families – Inspiring Hope luncheon, set for Thursday, April 16, 2020, at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m.to 1 p.m

Dr. Merrick has more than 18 years of clinical, research and leadership experience related to the etiology, course and prevention of child abuse and neglect. She previously served as a senior epidemiologist at the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
