Because of the uncertainty about where we will be as a city, state and nation with COVID-19, Parent Promise has decided to cancel our in-person Melody Lane event for this year. Instead, Parent Promise will provide a virtual silent and live auction combined with a multi-week campaign focusing on the many aspects of our mission to strengthen families and break cycles of family dysfunction that can lead to the neglect and abuse of children.
Our campaign is Mission Possible: Strengthening Families and Improving the Lives of Children. Now more than ever, our mission to prevent the neglect and abuse of children through parent education and support is vital. As we slowly emerge from isolation and face the challenges COVID-19 has placed on our families, we are excited about this opportunity to showcase the individuals, businesses and organizations that have been partners with us in helping families raise healthy and resilient children.
What will Mission: Possible look like?
An online silent auction the week of Aug. 16-22
A live-streamed virtual program and live auction Aug. 22
A multi-week, mission-focused campaign August-October that includes digital and social media activities
Opportunities for social media engagement and interaction with providers and supporters of family support services
Testimonials of families, parent educators, lawmakers, community leaders, donors and supporters and other partners who work with us on the front lines to protect and strengthen families and children.
